     Phelan Phamily Phun Days is a long-standing tradition in the Tri-Community which consists of Phelan, Pinon Hills, Wrightwood and the surrounding areas. Originally called the Phelan Phling this event has been a yearly occurrence since the 1960s. In the late 80s, the name was changed to Phelan Phamily Phun Days to emphasize that it was an event for the whole family. Back in the day, the Phling was a three-day event and, in the 80s, changed to a one-day event then, in 2016, it returned as a three-day event for the whole family to enjoy.
